Gold Logie winner Samuel Johnson is gearing up for a big week of charity work in Canberra for Love Your Sister.
He’ll be at a charity golf day in Gungahlin on Thursday, after organiser Craig Glover from Rutledge AV made a promise to Connie Johnson before she passed away, to raise $100,000 for the foundation.
Ned & Josh caught up with Sam and Craig this morning…
On the day, Craig will tell his own cancer story about him being the first person to ever have a stem cell transplant at Canberra Hospital and how Connie inspired him to make a difference.
Players will complete nine holes of golf, Sam will tee off with every group of players, there’ll be breakfast and a two-course lunch and plenty of raffles!
Stacks of items will also be auctioned off, including signed and framed Canberra Raiders and ACT Brumbies 2018 jerseys, a home theatre system and more.
All the action kicks off at 7:30am on Thursday March 29 at the Gungahlin Lakes Golf Course.

Sam’s work in Canberra this week doesn’t end there – he’ll also visit different Bunnings stores around the capital on Easter Sunday, to cook up some snags and raise more money!
