Goldfields Giants coming to Esperance
Annual pre-season camp
State Basketball League club Goldfields Giants will be visiting Esperance next weekend for their annual pre-season camp.
This visit will provide an opportunity for young local basketball players to attend a free coaching clinic.
Schedule for Saturday, February 16 at the Esperance Indoor Stadium:
12pm to 1pm
Free coaching clinic for boys and girls 8 – 18 years.
Players will be split into age groups
1pm to 2pm
Goldfields Giants intra club game with four local talented teens invited to take the court with the Giants.
Players, coaches, parents and Esperance community members are welcome to come along to watch, give the local boys some support and pick up some basketball tips along the way!
The Giants will then take advantage of the beautiful Esperance coastline for a beach workout before returning to Kalgoorlie on Sunday.
