Golden Outback wildflower photo comp open for entries
Wildflower season is almost here!
With the Goldfields-Esperance wildflower season almost upon us, budding photogaphers have a chance to win $500 thanks to Australia's Golden Outback wildflower photo competition.
Western Australia is home to over 12,000 wildflower species, that love to bloom after the winter rain. Peak wildflower season is from September through to October, but WA is expecting blooming in the next fortnight.
AGO are looking for the best wildflower photos from around WA as part of their annual competition to boost tourism and get people to explore the state.
You can enter and vote on your favourite wild flower photo at www.australiasgoldenoutback.com/page/win-500-your-best-wildflower-photo. The competition closes October 31.
