Gavin Cooper Pin Points The Moment He Realised He Was Leaving The Cowboys

Tonight marks the end of Gavin Cooper's Cowboys career. 

Since 2011 Coopz has worn the blue and grey with pride and prior to that he donned Penrith and GC colours, with the addition of one season with the Cowboys in 2006. 

The curtains will close on a stellar stint with the Cowboys when Coopz faces the Broncos tonight in a game that could see Brisbane handed the wooden spoon for the first time, ever!

The 35-year-old joined Hit QLD Breakfast's Cliffo & Gabi today to reflect on his time in Cowboys country. 

The former Queensland Origin player told Cliffo & Gabi he knows the exact moment it sunk in that he was leaving the Cowboys.
