Next month marks the much anticipated 2019 Comic-Con International in San Diego which historically sees major film companies reveal plans and teasers for upcoming projects.
This year however, Warner Bros. will not be attending, choosing to withhold promotions for Wonder Woman 1984, Joker and The Batman.
Before fans could get too cut up about the news, our real life hero Gal Gadot came to the rescue and dropped our first look at Wonder Woman’s new suit!
“Although all of us at Warner Brothers won’t be seeing you at SDCC - Hall H this year. We are so excited for what’s to come,” she wrote on Instagram
“So until then here’s a little gift from us to you....🙅🏻♀️”
Look at this crazy armour!
It seems Diana’s Amazonian-Olympian armour has had a 1980s update, drawing inspiration from the decade itself and the Golden Eagle armour worn in the ‘Kingdom Come’ comics.
Director Patty Jenkin also confirmed the sequel's release date, tweeting out "One... year... from... TODAY" - So see you all on June 6, 2020!
