Benalla’s entrepreneurs will have a well-supported opportunity for their start-up business ideas over the next 12 months thanks to funding from LaunchVic.

The Benalla Rural City Council, which will lead a consortium of four north-east Victoria Councils, will share $400,000 to support business start-up and entrepreneurial activity across the region.

Major, Cr Don Firth said that being able to provide support for entrepreneurs and business start-ups is very important.

“We want to ensure Benalla people, and more broadly those across the north-east, have access to the best support possible.”

- Major, Cr Don Firth

The project will include events including business taster seminars, founder workshops, mentoring, commercialisation bootcamps, a regional entrepreneur’s leadership program, an innovation conference, and more!

So if you have your own project or business start-up idea, this is your opportunity to give it a go.
