From Shark Attacks to Delivering Babies

From two surfers who rushed to help a shark attack victim, to a man who delivered a baby on a remote country road, several West Aussies have been recognised in this year's Community Hero Awards.

St John Ambulance has singled out surfers Matthew Percy and Jay Hoskins, who dragged a shark attack victim to shore in Gracetown last year. St John Chief Executive Officer, Michelle Fyfe, says the pair provided vital support to the victim, before paramedics even made it to the scene.
