Four boys have been caught throwing rocks at cars in Seaton.

Two vehicles were damaged on Frederick Road at around 8.45pm last night but thankfully, no one was hurt.

The drivers phoned Police who got to the culprits quickly.

They arrested a 12-year-old and two 13-year-old locals who will face court later.

They've been charged with throwing missiles and property damage.

Officers took the 9-year-old home.

It follows a string of similar incidents across the State, mostly on the Southern Expressway.

This one becomes the 12th of its kind since January, prompting more calls for the State Government to step in and do something.

They've already ruled out a $50,000 reward that Labor was pushing for.

But Steven Marshall has confirmed the Government is looking into other measures like barriers and CCTV footage.

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has compared it to as dangerous as starting a bushfire.
