Three men and a woman have been charged over a break and enter at a high-end fashion designer store in Sydney's inner south last month.

Three men allegedly broke into the Rosebery premises just after midnight on December 29, escaping with Camilla and Marc outfits worth thousands of dollars.

CCTV footage supplied by police shows the men using a sledgehammer to smash in the front glass door before racing in and grabbing armfuls of clothing from the racks.

Police will allege in court the clothing was being sold online through a marketplace at low prices.

The same offenders were also allegedly involved in a break and enter at a mechanic workshop in Matraville before the incident, during which a car was stolen.

Three properties at Redfern, Marrickville and Surry Hills were searched on Wednesday and three men aged 21, 22 and 23, and a 19-year-old woman were arrested.

The men face multiple charges including aggravated break, enter and stealing, dealing with the proceeds of crime and other outstanding offences.

The 19-year-old woman was conditionally bailed to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on February 5, while the 22-year-old man also was granted conditional bail to appear in the same court on January 29.

The 21-year-old and 23-year-old men were refused bail and are due to appear at Central Local Court on Thursday.

Some of the clothing has been recovered and police have appealed for anyone being offered suspiciously cheap Camilla and Marc items to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
