Naturally, depriving the body of fitness can have a detrimental effect on our mental health and to elaborate on the issue further, Bronte & Sam invited mental health expert & former elite swimming coach, Joanne Love on the show for a quick chat.

Joanne holds a degree in psychology and assists health organisations with recognising the benefits of psychology & neuroscience working together. 

Joanne explains the link between mental health and sports, why it's important to continue exercising and provides some alternatives to group sports to ensure Australians are getting the exercise they need to remain happy and healthy.
