For A Limited Time Sydney Will Get A Real-Life Willy Wonka Factory

No matter what age you are, everyone has definitely wished that they had won the golden ticket and the chance to see inside the Wonderful Willy Wonka Factory.

Well, now you can and you don’t even need a golden ticket!

The Grounds’ latest installation is designed to look just like Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory, but it is only on for two nights.

You can think giant neon lollipops and jumbo sweets, minus the Oompa Loompas.

These special Dessert Markets will only be running on Thursday 15 and Friday 16 August from 6pm –10pm at $10 per person but don't fret, you’ll find the Garden of Sweets hanging around right through until Sunday 22 September.

You can expect to find dishes like “The Candy Man” cake, an uber chocolatey cake garnished with freckles available in The Cafe and the edible “Shroom Garden”, a garden of chocolate parfait mushrooms with rocky road bits, popping candy and berries available in The Potting Shed.

And if you don’t have a huge sweet tooth, there will also be some savoury options available.
