Major Crash officers are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Kalgoorlie last night, 6 February
2019.
About 9.50pm, a beige Ford Falcon sedan was travelling along the Goldfields Highway and as the
vehicle approached the intersection of Hannan Street, the driver struck a woman who was laying on
the road.
The driver of the Falcon pulled over and stopped, but a blue Mack truck towing a trailer was unable
to stop and also ran over the woman.
The woman in her 20s received life-threatening injuries and died at the scene.
Both drivers are assisting police and Major Crash investigators would like to speak with anyone who
saw the crash, or the woman or either vehicle prior to the crash.
