Five fire crews attended a fatal crash on the Warrego Highway last night.

Queensland Police Services report that the accident happened around 11:32pm when a B-Double and a UTE collided 5km east of Jondaryan.

Paramedics attended the accident where the Ute driver, a 28-year-old man from Captains Mountain, west of Millmerran, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The 68-year-old B-Double driver from Roma was assessed at the scene however, they did not sustain any injuries and were not taken to hospital.

The road was closed as fire crews worked to clear diesel spill.

Investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit are continuing with officers appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash, or has dash cam vision, to contact them.
