This morning on the show, Tim & Jess addressed the impending deportation of the Biloela-based Sri Lankan Tamil family, after they've been delayed again.

They decided to reach out to a Biloela local and friend of the family, Bronwyn, to chat about how the town is feeling waiting for this case to be resolved.

Nadesalingam Murugappan (Nades) and Kokilapathmapriya Nadesalingam (Priya) came to Australia from Sri Lanka separately by boat in 2012 and 2013. They have two young daughters, Kopika (4) and Tharnicaa (2) who were born in Australia.

Nades & Priya's applications for asylum have repeatedly been turned down and Browyn and the Biloela community hope they can go back home to Central Queensland.
