If you’ve got blue eyes, there’s something you should know!
According to IFLScience.com, every single blue-eyed person on the planet descended from one European who lived between 6,000 and 10,000 years ago.
This European was the first to develop a mutation that now accounts for blue-coloured eyes.
Apparently, all humans originally had brown eyes… but a mutated OCA2 gene resulted in a change in pigment.
The concept that every blue-eyed person has the same mutation is pretty cool!
