Applications for the City of Albany’s Regional Events Sponsorship program are now open.
A total pool of $65,000 is available and applicants can apply for up to $20,000 in funding to go towards an event to be staged in the 2018 calendar year.
Events with an Anzac theme, commemorative element or program that may complement broader commemorations to close out the Anzac centenary period in Albany will be viewed favourably.
Acting Executive Director Commercial Services Adam Cousins said the sponsorship program aimed to support the staging of regional events that contribute to a wide range of social and economic benefits for our region.
“Through Regional Events Sponsorship we have been able to support a number of fantastic events which have produced great outcomes for Albany including the Great Southern Art and Craft Trail, Southern MTB, Taste Great Southern and Albany Trail Run,” Mr Cousins said.
