A 17-year-old who cracked an egg on the head of controversial politician Fraser Anning has been immortalised in a mural on Melbourne’s Hosier Lane.

Street artist Van T Rudd, who also happens to be Kevin Rudd’s nephew, has plastered the exact moment the of the egg crack in paint.

The boy has shot to fame in the hours since he cracked the egg on the senator’s head at a right-wing meeting in Moorabbin, in Melbourne’s south east.

A GoFund be for the boys legal costs and to “buy him more eggs” has raised 10s of thousands of dollars, with the boy saying the majority will go to victims of the terrorist attack.

He’s also attracted the attention of countless bands over the world – with groups including The Living End, Violent Soho, Hilltop Hoods, The Amity Affliction, Wheatus and more offering him free concert tickets for life.
