A drug bust at Oxenford yesterday has allegedly uncovered a huge stash of drugs and weapons.
Officers from the Rapid Action Patrol group executed a search warrant at a home on Xavier Place around 9am on Thursday.
Upon a search of the premises they allegedly found drugs including methyl-amphetamine, cocaine, cannabis and steroids, as well as a handgun, ammunition and knuckle-dusters.
A 36-year-old man from Oxenford has been charged with six counts of possessing dangerous drugs, two counts of possessing a weapon and one count each of possessing drug utensils, possessing property used in the commission of a drug offence and possessing explosives (ammunition).
He is due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on August 23.
