Don't Even Think About Flying Your Drone Near Gippsland Bushfires
State Control Centre has issued warning
As bushfires continue to burn across Gippsland, two of them have now burned thousands of hectares and are still not under control despite cooler weather and rain.
Officials from the State Control Centre are warning people against flying a drone near the fires. A drone will cause emergency service aircraft to stop operating, put firefighters at risk, and is against civil aviation safety regulations.
The centre said the warning was precautionary.
