Before online ordering existed, you would scurry up all your change and notes to buy a pizza. You’d have to call the store itself to put it through or hop in the car to get it yourself.

Things have definitely changed around here and now one of our biggest food chains is stepping up to dramatically shake up their service… Domino’s is getting rid of cash!

The famous pizza brand will trail a cashless system called the ‘tap and take’ at five stores in New South Wales and Queensland. The company is hoping it will help speed up workflow and free up time for staff who can whip up their delicious food faster.

It has caused a bit of debate given some people aren’t ready to remove cash from their lives. It’ll be interesting to see if Domino's make it permanent.

Keen to try it out? You could stop by either the Newtown, Wauchope or Coffs Harbour stores in NSW, as well as QLD’s Calamvale and Surfers Paradise South.
