Disney Team Up With Beyoncé's Makeup Artist For New ‘Lion King’ Collection

You know how back in the day, folks used to dress up in their finest dresses, coats and hats to go and pay 50c to see a ‘motion picture’.
Well since then, the ticket prices may have skyrocketed, but for some of us, the thrill of dressing up a little for the movies is still there… especially for a big movie event.
This July 19, Disney’s Lion King remake will hit Australian cinemas, and what better way to attend a screening than by looking like a glamorous lion king or queen yourself?
Enter Beyoncé Knowles-Carter’s makeup artist Sir John, who Disney asked to work on a beauty collection all inspired by the classic story and upcoming film!
After travelling to Johannesburg, South Africa, Sir John gathered inspiration from the African landscape, the colours of the Earth and the animals, and teamed up with Luminess Cosmetics to bring us the new collection!

The limited edition collection will drop July 15, while the CGI Lion King is set to hit Aussie cinemas July 19.
