Monkey Baa Theatre Company, the award-winning theatre company for young people, is proud to present the world premiere of Diary of a Wombat, a new Australian play based on the multi-award winning picture book by Jackie French and Bruce Whatley.

The production of Diary of a Wombat hits Esperance at the Civic Centre next Tuesday 31st October from 1-2pm!

Audiences aged three and over will meet Mothball, the naughtiest wombat in Australia. Bored with her daily routine, Mothball goes in search of shelter and food, creating chaos in the lives of the humans around her. Doormats, bins and washing lines are no match for this mischievous marsupial. Between a packed schedule of scratching, sleeping and eating, Mothball discovers that with a bit of persistence humans are quite easily trained!

The show stars Michael Cullen (War Horse), Julia Ohannessian (Hamlet) and Shondelle Pratt (Man of La Mancha) with cellist Mary Rapp also acting as the voice of Mothball.

Two shows on 31 October 1pm and 5pm.  Show duration 45 mins and tickets are $15.00 and you can purchase yours here!
