Police are appealing for public assistance to help find a young Beaudesert boy who's been missing for more than 24 hours.

13-year-old Coree was last seen leaving a Tina Street address around 7:30am on Thursday morning.

His father posted an emotional plea for help on the Crime Watch Logan Facebook page, saying the teen had gone for a ride on his BMX, which usually only takes him about 30 minutes.

"Our son Coree went for a ride on his bike at 7:30am and hasn't been seen or heard from since, the ride takes half an hour, he has no money or food or drinks with him either," he said in the post.

He was last seen wearing a white and black top, with army camouflage shorts and baseball cap, riding his gold and yellow BMX with black rims and black handlebars.

"Coree is not in trouble at home and was in good spirits when he went for a ride down to the centre of Beaudesert," his father said.

Anyone who may have seen him is being urged to contact police.
