Deputy Commander For SES Peter Green Chats Wild Weather Safety
More on the way!
This morning on the show, Nick, Jess & Ducko were joined by Peter Green, Deputy Commander of SES for Newcastle, Hunter & Central Coast to chat about the crazy weather last night!
There were around 525 requests for assistance, as well as requests for flood rescue.
He also stressed how important it is to not drive in flood water, no matter how shallow it may look.
Peter also gave us some advice on how best to look after our neighbours and how you can prepare for more wild weather that's on the way!
If you're in an emergency, call 000. If you need assistance, you can phone the SES on 132 500
