Demi Lovato recently left rehab, with loyal fans, family and friends all banding together online to show their support for her recovery.

However, some ‘friends’ of Demi have been slammed by the singer herself, for speaking to the media about her overdose and health following her overdose.

Needless to say, they’re no longer friends.

The news came after someone blasted Demi for allegedly firing one of her longtime backup dancers, Dani Vitale

They wrote, “It was completely unfair to fire Dani. She’s one of the few who really cares about Demi’s health and has been helping her for 3 years, she’s surrounded by people who only care about her money and she doesn’t see it.”

They continued, “the demi team is so rotten and she does not realize it, needs a total change, mainly from dancers pretending to be friends like @d…… and others………………”

Demi responded quickly with:

“You have no idea what you’re talking about.

“True friends don’t do interviews about you when you OD.”

She then clarified, “I’m not talking about Dani Vitale.”

It is not clear who Demi is talking about when she says ’true friends’, but many believe she means her former trainer, Danielle Martin, who gave an interview to the media about cutting Demi off.

Danielle told Radar Online:

“I lost my job for speaking up for her, to be honest.

“Pretty sad. I did nothing but empower her. Nothing bad to say. The people around her I’m sure were happy to run to her. They told her I was taking the situation and making it all about me. I’d never do that. Not ever. I was standing up for her. That’s all.”

Fans have since stood by Demi’s words, because true friends don’t go behind your back!
