Danny Green Says Bernard Tomic Isn’t The ‘Peanut’ The Public Thinks He Is

"People are very quick to judge"

13 March 2018

He came in third on the latest season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! which wrapped up last night, so this morning we caught up with Danny Green now that he’s out of the jungle!

Speaking about fellow athlete and camper, Bernard Tomic, Danny says he’s been given a bad wrap.

The tennis champion didn’t last too long in the jungle, leaving just three nights in after struggling with his mental health, and was subsequently dished a heap of slack over it.

The whole ordeal didn’t do much for his public image which already wasn’t great thanks to some of his comments in the past about ‘counting his millions’.

Now, Danny is here to say there’s a lot more to Barnard.

“He’s a very respectful, very polite guy… I don’t think he’s a bad human being, he’s a very decent person.

“People are very quick to judge. He says some stupid things. He’s a peanut, but he’s not actually a peanut.”
