The latest round of the Griffith City Council Community Grant Program is now open, with community groups and individuals invited to apply for projects which can demonstrate will achieve successful outcomes and align with Councils' Strategic Plan - Guiding Griffith 2040.

Chair of the Communities Committee, Councillor Anne Napoli said Council is excited to once again support projects which will positively benefit the wider Griffith Community, whether these be new project ideas or those already established, but acknowledged that the application process can seem daunting.

As such, Council will be holding free information sessions on Monday 11th March at 12pm and 5:30pm at 1 Benerembah Street.

“This one hour information session will guide potential applicants through the process and explain how to complete the Community Grant submission. If you are considering applying in this round, I would recommend you come along to one of the sessions." - Cr Napoli

In addition to the sessions, Community Development Team staff will be available to provide advice in strengthening your application.

Applications close Friday 22nd March. You can find application forms and program guidelines at www.griffith.nsw.gov.au/grants
