If you’ve got a sweet tooth be warned: the price of chocolate is likely to go up unless we make some serious changes. 

That’s the message from America's National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, who warn rising global temperatures could make the cocoa bean extinct by 2050. 

The group warns the Sahara desert if getting hotter, and encroaching on Ghana, one of the world’s biggest chocolate producers.

They say in just thirty years, cocoa beans may only be able to be grown on higher, cooler ground, meaning farmers will no longer be able to grow as a mass produced product.
