If there’s one thing we know, it’s that Melburnians love cheese, so this will be one food event to sink your teeth into.
The Westin Hotel, along with Maker & Monger, are bringing back their Winter special ‘High Cheese’. It has the flair of the dessert-filled high tea you’re accustomed too mixed with cheesy goodness. Heaven!
Plate up with baked Normandy Camembert aux Calvados, Swiss Gruyere Vieux Gougères with burnt green leak and Black Truffle, porcini and walnut layered Brie Fermier la Tremblaye.
Oh, and there will be plenty of sweet stuff too. Thing poached french pear with stracciatella, fresh honeycomb and smoked macadamia crumble, as well as ruby chocolate parfait with Brillat Savarin frais and raspberry jam. Wow.
