Cass And Bodge's Tummy Warmer Charity Drive

Winter is upon us which means hearty meals, heaters and slippers. However there are those in our community who are less fortunate and for them winter can be very harsh. Cass and Bodge are encouraging the Mid North Coast to get behind the Tummy Warmer Charity Drive and donate long life food items.

All food items collected will be distributed between the M.A.D. Foodtruck that feeds the homeless in the Hastings and the Anglican Care Soup Kitchens who provide food and care for those in need.

Food items needed: Cans of soup, lentils, noodles, packets of chips and nuts, long life snacks and lollies, Coffee and Tea and more.

Here is a list of various locations you can duck into to donate your goods:

• Nambucca Heads Anglican Parish (Open 9AM till 12PM, Tues-Fri)
• Kempsey Anglican Parish (Open 9AM till 12PM, Mon-Fri)
• Southern Cross Austereo Office Port Macquarie
• Wauchope Country Club
• Laurieton United Services Club

Donate today to help out those in need. The above locations will accept food donations up until Friday July 5 so there is plenty of time for you to drop by and do your part!

Note: Food items that will not be accepted: Dairy items, eggs, meat, fresh bread. If you are unsure please call 02 6583 8088 to clarify what food will be accepted :)
