Can you believe it’s already been 21 years since the Sydney Olympics?!

It turns out our hosts have very vivid memories of the occasion, just from slightly different perspectives.

Fifi recalled that she had been working as a team member for Samsung, who were sponsors of the event, and was paid a staggering amount of money to chaperone attendees; $10,000 for three weeks work!

Not a bad innings for a 22-year-old uni student.

Fev’s recollection is perhaps a little less glamorous; he watched the games, sweaty and shirtless (like the rest of us), while on a footy tour in the Greek islands.

From Cathy Freeman’s historic 400m sprint to an Olympian eating a goldfish, it was definitely one to remember.
