Call Your Veggie Mate: Grill’d Is Going Completely Meat-Free Today

Today, Monday April 15th -  for one day only -  Grill’d will be serving up solely meat-free options across their 137 stores.

The burger join insists that they still love beef, but after listening to feedback from customers and seeing a “10% increase in orders for our plant-based burgers,” the company says they’ve “noticed a shift in the way our guests are ordering,” and are acting on it.

“Taking a day off meat is important for health, it’s important for the environment and it’s important to our guests. And we dig it.

“We’ve been committed to serving up healthy burgers and caring for our environment since the beginning.

“So we’re taking meat off the table for one day, to let even our most committed of carnivores take a break and give our new Beyond Burgers a taste.”

For those concerned for the future of meat, you’ll be pleased to know that all your favourite meat options will be back tomorrow, alongside a new-season menu featuring some “delicious new burgs.”
