To be sure... to be sure... 

Cairns is set to go green today as we celebrate St Patrick's Day at some of our pubs, clubs and cafe's. 

We're a very multicultural bunch in the Far North and there's plenty of tourists who come to our part of the world and will be celebrating the big day with a pint of Guinness or beer with green food colour dye. 

Here's where you can join in: 

Gilligans- Irish fun n games by the pool, Dj's, Live Music, $15 Steak'n'Guinness Pie Meal Deal, Face & Body Painters, Wet T-Shirt Comp + Heaps Of Lucky Sunday Specials. 

The Pier Bar- The Pier Bar is open from 11:30am to 3am, with Irish dinner specials, live music from The Tall Poppies at 7:30pm with DJ Ryan Toth.

Brothers- Live entertainment from Irish Dancers, Big Noise, and Andrea Mullins! Irish themed food and Guinness for only $8 for members. Plus, great prizes and giveaways. 

The Bluewater- Jameson Whiskey and McAlister Brewed stout! They guarantee great views, great music and even better company. Heaps of great prizes and giveaways up for grabs too. 

Palm Cove Tavern-  Live Music, Irish food, Guinness , games and a best dressed Leprechaun Competition. Music kicks off at 2.30pm and the games begin at 3pm. 

Whatever you do. remember to drink responsibly! But most importantly have lot's of fun and embrace the luck of the Irish.
