This morning Bronte & Sam caught up with an inspiring local, Joe Briggs, who plans to ride over 400km to raise funds for the charity Active Farmers

Active Farmers, founded earlier this year by Ginny Stevens, aims to combat the level of depression in rural communities through improving physical and mental health, and developing a greater sense of community. 

A fundraising event will be held this Friday night at the Brolga Hotel in Coleambally in anticipation of Joe's 400km ride from Forbes to Mangoplah on the 15th - 17th September. Come along for a great night, and to support Joe and Active Farmers.
