Breakthrough in Echuca Angela Bannister cold case
Two Arrests
Homicide Squad detectives have made a breakthrough in their cold case investigation into the 2008 death of Angela Bannister following the arrest of a man and woman in Echuca today.
The pair, a 35-year-old woman and 44-year-old man, were arrested in Echuca this morning.
The arrests follow a cold case review of the investigation in which a young Angela Bannister, just one month shy of her second birthday, died in suspicious circumstances in Echuca on 19 July, 2008.
The man and woman will appear at Echuca Magistrates’ Court shortly each charged with one count of child homicide.
