Police have reopened one southbound lane of the Gateway Motorway at Boondall, after this morning's truck fire closed the road to traffic in both directions.
The northbound lane is still closed, with fire crews still on the scene.
There's chaos on the Gateway Motorway at Boondall, after a truck burst into flames.
Queensland Police got the call at about 8.30am, saying a semi-trailer had hit a barrier on the northbound lane of the Gateway near the Sandgate Rd overpass.
The caller said the truck was carrying fuel, and had burst into flames. Several loud explosions have been heard.
Miraculously, Queensland Ambulance has confirmed no one was injured in the crash or subsequent fire and blasts.
Police have asked motorists to avoid the area.
