Police have made an arrest over a fatal shooting at Maryland.
A man was found with gunshot wounds in the garage of a home in Beauford Avenue just after 4pm Saturday.
The victim couldn't be revived.
A 30 year old man was arrested at Wallsend this morning, following a major manhunt.
He's currently assisting with inquiries at Newcastle Police Station.
