Seaford Junior Football Club has been left reeling after thieves forced their way into their East Road storage shed, stealing brand new jumpers and footballs.

Frankston Crime Investigation Unit detectives understand the theft occurred sometime between Thursday 17 and Sunday 20 June.

Boxes containing new club jumpers and Sherrin and Ross Faulkner branded footballs were stolen valuing almost $5000.

The devastating burglary has left the kids footy club counting their loses after an already difficult start to the season with greater Melbourne's snap lockdowns and restrictions.

We caught up with club President Mark Davenport in an exclusive interview, where he said the club is "absolutely devastated".
