A unique weather pattern above Melbourne appeared last night - appearing as as if a giant Pac Man storm are up the city.
The images took social media by storm, with many excited by the bizarre pattern.
Now Senior Meteorologist Chris Godfred from the Bureau of Meteorology Victoria, has explained the storm and he says the weather pattern wasn't as uncommon as people might think.
"It did show up very well on the radar quite well - and it is something you see around Melbourne a lot."
The radar image looked a lot like the iconic video game graphics, with Melbourne being eaten up.
While the weather pattern has moved on the the severe weather warning has been lifted, Chris said we're likely to see some more rain across the afternoon, as well as short thunderstorms in Southern Victoria.
