Busy Philipps, who we all fell in love with on Dawson’s Creek, recently opened up about the sexist things she has experienced in Hollywood and fans can’t believe the most recent tale!

Busy opened up in her memoir, This Will Only Hurt A Little, about how she originally came up with the idea for the hit film, Blades Of Glory, and was never given credit for it…

She revealed that she had been watching men’s figure skating with childhood friend Craig Cox, when she started pondering the idea for a film about the competitive nature of the men’s ice skating world with him.

According to reports, Craig then pursued the idea with his brother, Jeff, and left Busy out of it all, minimising her contributions to the creative direction and screenplay.

Busy explained how Nerdist’s recent piece on how the idea came about made her extremely sad, sharing at the 2018 Vulture Festival,As soon as I saw it, my heart sank, because I knew what was going to f*cking happen.”

Busy compared the feeling of Brian attributing the idea to his brother to PTSD.

On her show, Busy Tonight, she explained:

“Women’s ideas and creativity get taken by men who are near them, and used for their own personal gain. I was gaslit and made to feel crazy. I was really traumatised by it. I didn’t trust myself or my instincts or my own abilities,” she powerfully shared.
