Just one sleep. One sleep till something big happens that is sure to touch the hearts of people everywhere.

Connie Johnson is slowly succumbing to the perils of cancer – but she’s determined to pull off something huge in the time she has left.

Connie wants to break the world record for the longest line of coins.

Her final fundraising act for Love Your Sister will take place right here in Canberra tomorrow, Wednesday May 10!

She’ll lay the five cent coins in the shape of a massive love heart, visible from space, at the Lyneham Netball Courts.

100% of every donated coin will be passed on to the country’s best cancer researchers in full!

There’s stacks of reasons to head along on the day..

Show your support by throwing your coins into the giant heart shaped wishing well and watch it grow throughout the day!

There’ll be loads of activities like free sports and giant games, novelty bikes, wandering circus performers, badge making, sand art, craft, face painting, a Brumbies workshop,  jumping castle and heaps more.

The Project will cross to The Big Heart Project live, and it’ll be a race to see if this million dollar heart can be made!

And, if you want to learn how to become a superhero cancer fighting advocate, there’ll be charities onsite providing all the information you need.

Four special guests will be there, including Bumble – the 13-year-old Tassie boy who designs and sews teddies to raise money for worthy causes, Marie Ramos – a mum of two who’s taken a year off to raise $100,000 for Love Your Sister through her art work, Mel Yeates – a girl busking her way around Australia to raise $100,000 for depression and cancer research and breast cancer researcher Professor Elgene Lim, who can talk about the exciting work going on in the Connie Johnson Breast Cancer Lab.

Connie and her gold Logie winning brother Samuel Johnson will also be there and they’d love you to say g’day!

“I can’t wait to meet you and say thanks for all of your support over the years,” Connie said.

“I am super excited about the whispers I am hearing about people travelling from interstate just for this Big Heart Project of ours.”
