Baldivis Bushfire Closes Kwinana Freeway

Parts of the Baldivis and the Kwinawa Freeway south of Perth are closed as a bushfire rages.
The out of control bushfire is threatening lives and homes with the Department of Fire and Emergency Services is urging residents to act quickly to survive.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area, reduce speed and drive carefully due to smoke.
The emergency warning has been issued for people in an area bounded by Bertenshaw Road, St Albans Road, Folly Road, Young Road, Doghill Road and Kwinana Freeway on the eastern side of Kwinana Freeway.
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services says lives and homes in the area are in immediate danger and people need to act immediately to survive.
