“This new ATO office will see to the creation of 600 new jobs on the Central Coast, demonstrating the Turnbull Government’s long term commitment to employment and service delivery in the region,” Minister O’Dwyer said.

“More jobs for the region will have a flow-on impact within the community and will see a boost for many existing businesses.”

“People in Gosford have an exceptional advocate in Lucy Wicks, who has been instrumental in ensuring the people of Gosford and the surrounding areas have had their voices heard throughout this process.”

Construction to date has injected over $7.5 million dollars into the local economy with most of the work being completed by contractors local to the Central Coast and surrounds.

“Importantly, the office will establish a vital link with tertiary campuses in the area, providing career opportunities for our young people,” Mrs Wicks said.

“I am delighted that we are now seeing construction nearing completion and job applications about to open.”

“The Turnbull Government remains committed to supporting regional development and the local Gosford community.”
