Meteorologists have tipped this as one of the coldest mornings of the year.
Camden recorded -2.7C at 7.30am, with the wind chill factor making it feel more like -4.9C.
At Badgerys Creek and Campbelltown it was -1.5C, and at Holsworthy it was -1C.
Meanwhile, in the city it was 5C, but felt like -1C due to the wind.
Temperatures should be on the way up for the rest of the week, with it predicted to be roughly 5C warmer across Sydney tomorrow morning.
