As Melbourne comes up for air after their 5th lockdown, matters may be complicated this Saturday when more than 1,000 protesters claim they’ll be taking part in a "Freedom Walk", protesting restrictions.
The protest is said to take place at The Royal Botanic Gardens’ Tan track this Saturday.
Victorian Police released a statement Wednesday that said they were aware of the plans and monitoring the potential for the protest.
“We are currently making a number of enquiries in relation to this and remain in the process of planning our operational response,” the statement said.

Some positive news, Victoria has only 3 new locally acquired COVID cases out of 43,500 tests. All are linked to current outbreaks and were quarantined for their entire infectious period.
