Ambulance Called As ‘House Rules’ Contestant Collapses During Renovations
He had to be rushed to hospital.

Every renovation show claims that contestants are ‘pushing themselves to the limit’, but last night’s episode of House Rules saw those words become a reality.
Competing in a very physical garden renovation, contestant Mat collapsed as soon as the challenge finished, telling the other teams, “I need a lay down, I think.”
After paramedics rushed in, an ambulance was called and Mat was taken to hospital for suspected heatstroke.
“Mat, considering the significant reaction you've had to the heat, I'd like to call an ambulance,” the paramedic told him.
"Matty has absolutely cooked himself,” fellow contestant Shayn told cameras.
“I don't know whether it's dehydration or if he's just really worked too hard, but he didn't look in a good way.
"Everyone obviously pushes themselves to the extreme every week, and after the feedback last week, the boys, they did not want to stop at all, and I think Matty ... He has burnt himself out."
Since last night’s episode, Tim & Mat have reassured that although the whole experience was scary at the time, Matty is okay!
“Old Matty...laying down on the job!...he is ok everyone!” the team wrote on their Instagram.
