In 2019 local Adelaide woman Jeannie was attacked while on her morning run.

This incident was the catalyst for the first Reclaim The Run back in June of 2019.

She spoke openly about the experience with Bec, and reflected on how she still feels unsafe taking the streets alone two years on.

Hear the full interview here:

In 2019, 2000 people chose to stand up for women’s safety when we ran our first Reclaim The Run at Elder Park. We know women’s safety is not just an issue on our streets, but in our homes too.

Our friends, wives, sisters, mums, and daughters deserve to feel safe at home, at work and in public. Bec, Cosi and Lehmo are drawing attention to violence against women with the second Reclaim The Run at Elder Park on July 29.

Violence against women has to stop, this is a campaign to Reclaim women’s safety. Enough is enough.

Bec, Cosi and Lehmo encourage all to attend Reclaim The Run from 6pm-8pm Thursday July 29 – register now at SAFM.com.au
