Have you ever dreamed of quitting your life and living on a tropical island? Now’s your chance.
Berarra Island in Far North Queensland is advertising for a caretaker – and the job looks pretty damn good.
The island is about 10km off the coast of Mission Beach and is home to seven luxury cabins.
The caretaker will be paid $450 a week for 15 hours of work – but it includes a cabin on the island for your down time.
The applicants would need to be physically fit and have a knowledge of petrol motors. Work would include manual labour, garden maintenance, and looking after the island’s infrastructure.
So far the job’s only had around twenty applicants, so if you’re looking for an escape from the city (and you don’t have any kids) we'd get to work on that CV stat!
Applications close next weekend, and can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org, send us a postcard won't ya?
