A Number Of Suspicious Packages Reportedly Found At Embassies In Melbourne

Authorities are investigating a number of suspicious packages that have been sent to embassies in Melbourne.

Firefighters and federal police are reportedly in attendance at some embassies including the New Zealand and Korean embassies.

The Australian Federal police confirmed emergency services were examining some packages. 

7 News reports the US, British, Indian, German and Swiss consulates may also be affected.

There has been no comment from authorities.
