We don’t know how we missed seeing this one, but a meteor flew over Sydney on Saturday night and left some a little bit startled.

Witnesses saw multiple flashes in the sky across NSW at around 6.30pm on Saturday.

Footage instantly began circulating on social media. You can literally see a giant fireball shooting across the sky getting bigger and bigger. 

Witnesses also stated that the meteor streaks went from bright orange to green.

Channel Seven even captured it on their news break.

Experts also reportedly told Nine News that the meteor looks like it could have fallen in Cooma, south of Canberra.
